Return Policy
We inspect every order before it leaves us to make sure it's correct and in perfect condition. In the rare event something goes wrong, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your item and we will sort it out.
What happened to your order?
You received the wrong item
Our mistake entirely. Contact us and we will arrange to send you the correct product at no extra cost to you.
✓ Full exchange at our costYour item doesn't work
Contact us first — we'll help you troubleshoot. If we confirm the product is defective, send it back to us and we'll dispatch a replacement once we've verified the fault. If the item is out of stock at that time, we'll issue store credit instead.
✓ Exchange or store creditYou changed your mind
No problem — you can return the item provided it is unused, in its original packaging and in new resaleable condition. Return postage is at your cost. We'll issue store credit for the item value minus the original outbound postage.
Store credit (minus postage)Items we cannot accept back: Software products, and any items that have been printed, encoded or customised to your specification cannot be returned or exchanged, as these are produced specifically for your order.
Condition required for returns
To be accepted for return, items must be:
- Unused and in new condition
- In original, undamaged packaging
- Not peeled, torn, soiled or altered in any way
- Returned within 7 days of notifying us
Return Process
Follow these steps to initiate a return. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Contact us
Reach out via the contact form or email. Describe the issue clearly and include your order number and photos if the item is damaged or incorrect.
Get return authorisation
Wait for our confirmation before sending anything. We'll provide the return address and any instructions specific to your case.
Ship the item back
Pack the item securely and use a trackable shipping method. You are responsible for the return postage cost and for the item until it reaches us safely.
We inspect and resolve
Once received, we inspect the item and process your exchange, store credit or refund within 3–5 business days.
Refund Fees
When a refund is issued at the customer's request, the following costs may be deducted from the refund amount:

These deductions apply only to customer-initiated refund requests. Refunds initiated by Ubitap (e.g. for our errors or out-of-stock situations) are issued in full with no deductions.
Limited Warranty
All products sold by Ubitap are covered against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of dispatch.
Some products additionally carry a manufacturer's warranty beyond our 30-day coverage. Where applicable, this is stated on the individual product page. For manufacturer-warranted items, the defective product must be sent directly to the manufacturer for warranty service. The buyer is responsible for all postage and shipping charges involved.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from:
- Mishandling, accidents (including theft, flood, fire, or spillage of food or liquid), neglect or abuse
- Unusual electrical stress, voltage surges or overloads, incorrect wiring, or improper testing
- Improper storage conditions
- Modifications or repairs carried out without our written consent
- Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for storage, installation, use or maintenance
- Defects that should have been apparent on reasonable inspection at the time of delivery, not reported within 3 days of receipt
- Any defect reported more than 30 days after the date of dispatch
Liability
Except as required by applicable law, Ubitap NFC Technologies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or liability of any kind arising from a breach of implied warranties, terms or conditions.
The customer acknowledges that it is their responsibility to ensure that the products and services ordered are suitable and fit for their intended purpose.
We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses which arise as a side effect of the main loss or damage relating to the sold products.
