Topaz 512 (also known as Broadcom BCM20203) is an NFC Forum Type 1 Tag — a distinct architecture from the more common NTAG Type 2 family. It offers 462 bytes of user memory organised in a flat byte-addressable structure, making it straightforward to work with for custom NDEF applications.
Topaz 512 is compatible with NFC-enabled Android devices and iOS (iPhone 7 and later with iOS 11+). It's a solid choice for applications that require a Type 1 Tag specifically, or where its particular memory organisation suits the data structure of your application.
